Lower East Side
The Lower East Side is a neighborhood located in the southeastern part of the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is roughly bounded by the Bowery to the west, East Houston Street to the north, the East River to the east, and Canal Street to the south. Today, the neighborhood is eclectic, with a thriving arts and culture scene, trendy bars and restaurants, and a variety of shops and boutiques.
