Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village, also known as “the Village,” is a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York City. It is located on the west side of the island, bordered by 14th Street to the north, Houston Street to the south, Broadway to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. Greenwich Village is known for its bohemian culture, historic architecture, and lively nightlife. It has been a center for artistic and literary movements, including the Beat Generation, and was home to many famous writers, poets, and musicians, such as Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsberg, and Edna St. Vincent Millay.
