Murray Hill
Murray Hill is a neighborhood located on the east side of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is roughly bounded by East 34th Street to the south, East 42nd Street to the north, Madison Avenue to the west, and the East River to the east. Murray Hill is primarily a residential neighborhood, with a mix of high-rise apartment buildings, townhouses, and brownstones. The area is known for its quiet, tree-lined streets and its proximity to some of the city’s major landmarks, including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and Grand Central Terminal. In addition to its residential character, Murray Hill is also home to a number of businesses and offices, particularly those related to finance, law, and healthcare. The neighborhood has several popular restaurants, bars, and cafes, as well as several parks and public spaces, including the East River Esplanade and the Bellevue South Park.
