Rose Hill
Rose Hill is a neighborhood located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is situated in the northeastern part of the borough, bounded by the Harlem River to the north, 3rd Avenue to the west, East 32nd Street to the south, and the Metro-North Railroad tracks to the east. Rose Hill is primarily a residential neighborhood, with a mix of apartment buildings and townhouses. It is also home to several educational institutions, including Fordham University and the Manhattan College School of Engineering. The neighborhood is named after the former Rose Hill estate, which was owned by the Lorillard family in the 19th century. The estate was known for its beautiful gardens and landscaping, and some of the original buildings still exist today.
