Sugar Hill
Sugar Hill is a neighborhood located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It is situated in the northern part of the borough, bounded roughly by 145th Street to the south, 155th Street to the north, Edgecombe Avenue to the east, and Amsterdam Avenue to the west. Sugar Hill is primarily a residential neighborhood, with many of its buildings dating back to the early 20th century. It was named after the refined sugar that was produced in the Caribbean, as many of the wealthy families who lived in the area in the early 1900s made their fortunes in the sugar trade.
