Turtle Bay
Turtle Bay is a neighborhood located in the Midtown Manhattan area of New York City, United States. It is situated on the eastern side of the borough, bounded roughly by East 42nd Street to the south, East 53rd Street to the north, First Avenue to the east, and Lexington Avenue to the west. Turtle Bay is known for its mix of residential and commercial buildings, as well as its proximity to several landmarks and cultural institutions. The neighborhood is named after the Turtle Bay Farm, which was owned by the Beekman family in the 18th century. Today, Turtle Bay is a primarily residential neighborhood, with a mix of co-op apartments, rental units, and townhouses.
